Te guste o no
hermano mío
la marimba
que llevamos dentro
nos recuerda
la silvestre geografía
de la Patria,
y tantos pájaros
en su canto
nos hacen retornar
al surco
de verde algarabía.
Y es que la patria
hermano mío
es un hontanar de inspiración
que se confunde
en la alforja de versos
y canciones
del Arquitecto del Universo.
Te guste o no
hermano mío
ese canto
que nos regalan
las lejanas serranías,
las inhóspitas selvas
y la sagrada vendimia de nuestro suelo
nos regresan a nuestras raíces,
a los brazos
de la dulce Patria.
